As we sit here in our lovely air conditioned store and watch all the kids run around in their summer gear, we are reminded of our childhood and the things we loved most about being a kid in the summer time. Perhaps some of the things on our list will bring a smile to your face as it did ours.

Running in the sprinklers
Staying up late
Going back-to-school shopping with mom
'School night' sleepovers
Campfires

Of course the absolute worse thing about summer is going back to school. But who wants to think about that when the sun is shining and the days are full of freedom.
